Here We Go!

So, I love music.

Band class? Not as much.

But still, I have two of them.
And now, it might finally be paying off.

In the next two weeks, I've been given the oppurtunity to practice and perform with the Dallas Brass. I don't know all the details yet, but as soon as I do...

Ya Know What?

I would really love to post more pictures for the ghosts and non-existent people who frequent this blog, but I can't. Not only is there no room on my computer for any of the thousands of pictures I have taken with my nice, new, shiny, camera, but I don't have the correct software to transfer them anyway. So there.

I've been working hard to obtain more memory and such, but I'm having some troubles. Give me a few more days and I might be able to figure somethin' out.

Maybe.

Picture Post

So I guess I'll start with a picture post first.

As of right now, most of the pictures I'll be putting up will be relatively old; I've had a new camera (a Nikon D60) for awhile but my computer doesn't have enough room for the software that allows me to upload any pictures. Therefor, most of this stuff is gonna be from my old camera.

At least until my brother gets home from college and helps me figure all this techy stuff out =)

So here it goes...
(Huh. Guess it is a music post after all. 10 points to anyone who can correctly identify the song! )

(This just makes me realize how cold it is where I live.)
And, in honor of my favorite baseball team playing their first spring training game tomorrow-

(Yes I know there's a head in the corner, I just didn't feel like cropping it out)
One last thing- PLEASE don't steal any of my pictures

Hey

“A painter paints his pictures on canvas. But musicians paint their pictures on silence. We provide the music, and you provide the silence.”

So Leopold Stowkoski is inspiration for half of this blog at least, as I do enjoy art that can go on things other then silence. Namely, photography.

Yes, I'm yet another blogger who is going to litter the internet with their unoriginal yet not half bad photography, so if you don't want to see that I suggest you hit the back button now.

However, I also quite enjoy music (hence the quote); I can decently play the guitar, bass, french horn, piano, clarinet and trumpet, and will listen to pretty much anything.

So if you want to talk about music and can stand the posts of amateur photography, feel free to stick around.

But I'm not promising anything.
